Sea Horse Resort

My stay at the Sea Horse Resort was absolutely fantastic. Even before my trip, I had been in contact with one of their representatives about various questions I had, and when I arrived, I finally got to meet him in person. We had a great conversation, which made me feel incredibly welcomed. Not just him, but every employee I spoke with was genuinely engaged and eager to chat, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt more like being at home than staying at a hotel. The room was perfect—comfortable bed, a stunning view of the pier and sunset, and a well-thought-out layout. I had everything I needed to prepare meals and enjoy a great dining experience right in my room. I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. If someone told me I had to live in this room in San Clemente, I’d be more than happy to! Even when I encountered a small issue—returning to find a broken glass in my room—the level of care from the staff stood out. I was able to reach the manager after hours and her first concern was whether I had been injured. She reassured me multiple times, showing true hospitality and attentiveness. My family has stayed here before, and after having my own experience, I can confidently say this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had at a hotel. I felt more than just a guest—I felt truly welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this hotel. My room was #6, and even with a partial view, it was more than enough to feel completely satisfied with the location and the overall experience.

We stayed in one of the studio Casitas on the bottom floor. Amazing view and weather. Staff was nice and accommodating. We had to take a work truck since we were there on business but thankfully it fit in the garage. We met some really nice people sitting out on the patio. Also helped people parallel park which was entertaining at times lol. Over all we will definitely go back and hopefully get the same room again!

A true hidden gem among coastal hotels in California, and I'm not exaggerating! If you like low-key, easy to access rooms, without the hassle of heading down elevators, crossing major streets, etc. etc. to get the beach, then this is your place. We got a studio room with a kitchenette and big personal patio. Super clean inside, everything worked perfectly, windows were clean, and the views were out of this world. There were tons of windows to open and the sea breeze was perfect. We had a great couple of nights here!

I was surprised at the size of our room and how big it was when we arrived. The View looking out at the beach was amazing. Full size refrigerator and Kitchen in the room. Nice shower. Big comfy bed. Lots of storage. And amazing balcony looking out at the ocean for sunset. The staff was super nice and helpful on check in and check out.

Can't rate it higher. Great location. Staff +10 Did a bit of homework and found it. Not a place we are staying often. But I’d come again!

A beautiful view. A fantastic group of people. We have come for the last three years and enjoy everything about it. The staff is very kind and helpful. We give this place a great big Texas thumbs up!

It’s a nice, spacious room right in front of the beach. They offer parking but it’s a bit tight depending on where you park and the shower’s water pressure is a bit on the lighter side. Had a good stay here!

Absolutely stunning location, clean and well-equipped rooms. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Can't recommend enough!
